Welcome our new postdoctoral researcher!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Thuanny Rios as a new postdoctoral fellow in the Oliveira Lab!

Dr. Rios earned her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (Brazil), where she developed her thesis on “Development of Polymeric Nanostructures as Delivery Systems for the Antimicrobial Peptide BoptramP14.” Her research brings together expertise in antimicrobial peptides and drug delivery strategies.

At the Oliveira Lab, Dr. Rios will explore new frontiers in microfluidics and organ-on-a-chip platforms, contributing to the development of advanced models for studying host-pathogen interactions and therapeutic testing.
