Workshops Workshops Workshops!!

This past November, the Oliveira Lab hosted our first annual Microfluidics Workshop - Microfluidics: Design, Fabrication, and Biological Applications! North Carolina A&T undergraduate students were introduced to microfluidics for biological applications. Sam, Sondai, and Hassan gave presentations to a hybrid audience on microfluidic applications in biological research and industry, computer-assisted design (CAD) tools, rapid prototyping techniques, and research performed at JSNN. Students made quick designs using Flui'DEVICE provided by Eden Tech which they then pitched as solutions for biological study. The event was filled with fun, community fellowship, outreach, and innovation.

We are excited to announce that the Oliveira Lab has added two more workshops to our list: a Biotech-inspired Hack-a-thon and Python for Bioengengineers workshops! Updates regarding our three workshops coming in 2025 will be posted on our website and social media pages. We can't wait to see you there!
