When Greensboro Turned Into a Snow Globe ☃️

Last weekend, the Oliveira Lab experienced the magic (and mild chaos) of the first snowfall in Greensboro! While the snow politely suggested that we stay indoors, it also gave us the perfect excuse to slow down, stay warm, and admire the world turning into a real-life snow globe right outside our windows.
Some of our lab members braved the cold to build snowmen and make memories with friends and family. Others chose the elite survival strategy, staying inside, wrapped in blankets, holding a hot drink like it was a life source, and watching the snow fall like nature decided to switch everything to slow motion for a while.
As Albus Dumbledore wisely said, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” ✨ This snowfall reminded us that even when plans get snowed in, there is joy in small moments, laughter, warmth, friendship, and the occasional emotional support snowman.
Here’s a glimpse of how our lab members embraced the first snow of the season! ☃️
